Designed and developed an application to import DHCP server configuration files for an IP address management system. Created an extendible parser that reads and verifies syntax for DHCP configuration and lease files, used for reading various DHCP configuration and lease files, entering its contents into the LDAP database, to which the DHCP server accessed upon startup.
Led a team of three software engineers, two technical writers, and two quality assurance members for the 18-month Kerberos V4 development effort, to incorporate the Kerberos security server and protocol within the TCPware software suite. Tasks included managing project schedule, designing the Kerberos servers and interfaces to be used within various applications, as well as serving as the liaison to senior management.
Led the web server Y2K and SSL encryption development efforts, managed the overall project schedule, reported progress to departmental manager, and wrote design specifications to implement SSL encryption within the web server.
Developed and maintained several TCP/IP communications software applications for the TCPware product suite.
