Assistant Vice President/Business Development Manager Commerce Bank (1990–1997) –Initiated and executed successful program to prospect and gain new accounts in expanding market areas. Created a private banking program for high-net-worth clients and improved service to corporate clients by developing and implementing a cash management system. Initiated and implemented an aggressive cross-selling program for teller and customer service staff resulting in 25% growth in deposits. Increased new corporate checking accounts and small business loans by initiating an outside calling program. Improved teller performance by collaborating with branch managers on development of new teller training. Turned around two underperforming branches through customer service training and expanded business development resulting in revenue growth 20% in excess of goals.
