n Engineer (Control & Instrumentation Maintenance in the Captive Power Plant) in the unit The Madras Aluminium Company Ltd (MALCO).
• Was a Core member in the Control & Instrumentation Maintenance.
• Worked with The Entech Consultancy Bureau as Instrumentation Project Engineer-Detailed Engineering .( March-08 to May-08) for cement Plant Projects.

Professional Experience:

a) Control & Instrumentation Maintenance ( At MALCO):

 Worked as a Control & Instrumentation Engineer at MALCO CPP.
 Responsible for maintaining the Honeywell - Distributed Control System (TDC3000).
 Developing DCS logics, interlocks and picture editing.
 Responsible for the maintenance of instruments in Boiler and Turbine area and it’s connected auxiliaries and checking of protections for Boiler.
 Responsible for the safety and health of the people working in AMC contract at MALCO- CPP.
 Responsible for monitoring the maintenance schedule and ensuring the timely completion of the Preventive Maintenance activities. .
 Main focus on reducing the Maintenance Costs thereby reducing the Cost of Production of power.
 An active member of the TQM team.
 Trained for GUS/HPM Engineering module for TDC 3000 Tata HoneyWell DCS at JRD Tata Automation Training center, Pune.

b) Budgeting and Inventory control (At Malco)

 Budgeting and inventory control of Control & Instrumentation maintenance.
 Planning for timely spares procurement, testing and certifying as per the specifications.
 Responsible for submitting the monthly consumption figures and projections for the next month.

c) Unified Management System (UMS) documentation (At Malco)

 Responsible for ISO documentations related to control& instrumentation maintenance.
 Preparation of all the documents as per the requirement of ISO system and maintaining the same.
 Facing the internal and external audits.
 A trained coordinator for all the three management systems (ISO 9001 (2000), ISO 14001 (1996), OHSAS 18001).
 Ensuring the control measures are in place and training the people.

d)Detailed Engineering : ( At Entech Consultancy Bureau)

 PID reviews ,instruments and loop extraction from P&ID,Preparation of instrument list, Instrument specification and IO list.

0.9+1.5 MTPA Cement Plant Expansion, M/S CKORAMAANDEL cement (pvt) ltd., Andhra Pradesh.

 Detailed engineering of control and instrumentation involving preparation of P&I Dwg,instruments list, Instrument Specification, cable schedule, interconnection details,logics.

e) Senior Instrumentation Engineer for Powerplant Projects ( At Greenesol Power Systems Pvt Ltd)
 Review of P&ID, Preparation of IO List , Preparation of Cable Schedule and interconnection details.
