ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS:

• SCAN SOFT is a project developing software used for diagnostic purpose and hospital management such as storing and retrieving the patient’s database and providing the patients with report analysis. This is achieved by using Visual Basic as a front End, which consists of forms and fields. Microsoft access 97 is used as a database which is a back end. Front end interfaces with the back end. Back end hosts the data. This application is integrated to a capturing device which can be CT scans or MRI etc.
• Won first prize for the national level papers
IRIS RECOGNITION: This paper explains the iris recognition algorithms, and presents results of 9.1 million comparisons among eye images. Here algorithms are developed for recognizing persons by their iris pattern laboratory trials, producing no false matches in several million comparison tests.
NANO ROBOTS: This paper explains about nano robots which are Miniature surgeons used to repair damaged cells and assists the intracellular structures.
• Implemented the Matlab tool to find the facility location problem using Weiszfeld\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s algorithm.

• Application of Neural Networks: The project is “Character recognition using Back propagation Network”. Here the network is trained to recognize fixed-font alphabets using a back propagation algorithm. The network is trained with the different random sets of inputs and then it is tested for the trained and untrained sets of data.

• Volunteer for International Students Association (ISA) and Association for Indian Students (AIS) at Louisiana Tech University.
