OVERVIEW:

In this project we dealt with the design of 30000bwt bulk carrier propulsion system, which has to transmit a power at a rate of 6232kw.

The loads are to be carried by the shafting system and the corresponding bearing reactions are obtained from design calculations and they are compared with
ANSYS (Static Analysis of Beam) results thus we suggest the suitable design of “Transmission System”

TRAINING PROGRAM:
Attended an Industrial Training Program on “CENTRAL MECHANICAL MAINTAINANCE” in Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd, Steel Plant, Visakhapatnam.
