Handling of O&M activities:

A) Configuration management:
§ Creation of the new DLC,Route ,Links,E1 augmentation.
§ Creation of signaling link, and trunk group.
§ Daily health checks of MSU and attending faults observed. Maintaining 99.99% uptime.

§ Ensuring proper routing of calls to other exchanges and Destination.

B) Fault management:

· Trouble shooting, analyzing, fixing problems for Analog Subscribers & ISDN (BRA).

§ Routine Tests, Backup handling of CP.

and other switches.

Title : “Testing and analysis of ISUP (ISDN User Part)”

Project description: - The ISDN User Part (ISUP) defines the protocol used to set up, manage and release the trunk circuit that carry voice and data between terminating exchanges. ISUP is used for both ISDN and NON-ISDN calls .the ISDN user part makes use of services provided by the MTP (Message transfer part) and in some cases by SCCP (Signaling connection control part) for the transfer of information between ISDN user parts.

ROLES AND RESPONSBILITY: -

· Study and analysis of ITU /ANSI specification Documents for the protocol.
· Analyzed and Documented the entire testing and defects has been resolved.
· An unresolved defect has been raised to SIEMENS SPCNL TAC with necessary data.
· The CCR has been increased to 55.5% which is the highest among circles of Bharti.

PROJECT2:

Title : “Installation and commissioning of EWSD switch”

Project Description:
Involved in installation and acceptance testing of below mentioned features of EWSD switch.
Subscriber Features like Call Waiting, Call Completion Busy, Clip, Call forwarding etc.
Trunk and Routing features, Charging, Traffic, Load testing, Hunting, Centrex, etc.
Testing of PRA and BRA lines.
