Officer- HR with M/s HPL Additives Ltd. (formerly known as M/s High Polymer Labs Ltd. since November 2006 till date.

An ISO 9001,14001 & 18001 CERTIFIED COMPANY; manufacturer of Polymer Additives like Blowing agents and Antioxidants, it has successfully diversified into Biocides, Polymerization Catalysts, Photograph Chemicals, Pharma & Agro intermediates having a turnover over 220 crores.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Selection:

To Assist Executive Director (H.R) in Man Power Planning, to contact with various placement consultants & Job portals like Naukari.com, & Job monster.com, Screening of applications. Identification of prospective candidate and short-listing, to manage in headhunting assignments of active candidates, conducting preliminary interview & make arrangement for final interview, Facilitate selection, Issuing of Letter of Intent. To complete joining formalities i.e. Preparing appointment letter of new entrant, preparing separate file of the employee and place them at their respective place in respective deptt.

Induction & Orientation Program:

• Whenever a new employee joins in the Zone, ensure that he is inducted and his orientation is done as per the grade on day 1.
• To provide a proper Induction and Orientation Program to all the new joinees and take a proper feedback of the same.
• To submit the report of all the new joinees throughout and their induction and orientation report by 5th of every month.
• To ensure that all the new joinees (executives onwards) are mandatory sent to head office within 30 days of their joining for detailed induction and training program
• To ensure that those employees who joins at the different units are issued /briefed on their role and responsibilities by issuing them the job description and key result areas in consultation with BH/H.

Job Description & KRAs

To ensure that every employee is being given in writing the brief job description and quantified Key result area by concerned H/BH.

Campus Relation:

• To maintain an updated list of all B-Schools and A –Grade Engineering Colleges in the Zone.
• To maintain the relation with Placement Officers for summer and Winter Trainings and final Placements.
• To identify the professors in those colleges whose services could be utilized for Training & Development in the Organization?
• To maintain regular contacts with the Campus recruits and help they settle down in the Organization.

Training & Development:

• Training needs identification.
• Preparing training assessment forms.
• Preparing proposed list of participant attended & Training matrix.
• Design, Develop and Conduct training programs as per training matrix.
• To assist in the Implementation of a system of Competency Development of Employees at all levels & integrate it with related HR Systems; To gather information pertaining to Training; To maintain training histories of all employees. Preparation and maintaining report according to QS- 9000/ E M S 14001/OHSAS 18001 norms.
• General Training (For Workers, Team Leaders, Staff Members).
• Behavioral Training and Multiskilling Training.
• Soft Skills Training (Communication, Attitude, Think Big, Time Management etc.)
• Special Training Arrangements for our Vendors/Buyers/Visitors.
• To get feedback & evaluation of these training.
• Retraining.

Performance Management/Upgradation/Appraisal:

• Issue duly filled in application form to concern dept.
• Facilitate employee’s appraisal.
• To facilitate promotion, transfer and increment on annual performance basis.
• To evaluate individual performance and maintain records.

I.S.O. related works:

• To maintain documents & records of ISO.
• To design & conduct ISO Training.
• To manage ISO Audits (External & Internals)
• To liasioning with ISO Certification Agencies.

M.I.S Information:

• Information of attiring.
• Keeping updated record of Date of Birth & Date of Marriage of staff members.
• Maintain personnel record of employees.
• General Manpower Related reports on a monthly basis.

Compensation Management/ Statutory Compliance:

• Preparation of Salary for the whole HPL Group through ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
• Verification of Salary of all the employees of four units of HPL Group of Industries.
• Preparation & Submission of monthly & Annual Return of PF & ESI.
• Preparation & Submission of half-yearly & Annual Return under the Factories Act.
• Employee transfers. Preparation of Full & Final Settlement Account at the time of separation, preparing arrear.
• Disciplinary action Show cause notice, Warning letter, Suspension letter etc.

Separation Formalities:-

• Handling of resignations and processing NO Due Clearance for full & final settlement of employees.
• Generating Relieving, Salary Certificate and Experience Letters etc.
• To assist H (HRM) in Employee exit interviews for generating feedback in areas of Improvement.
