I have more than 8 years experience in different levels raising steadily to managerial positions, under which my main responsibilities included planning, budgeting, bid preparations, contract negotiations, site inspection and supervision, project management and coordination of day to day activities, as well as managing activity budgets, making sure that funds are spent efficiently and appropriately.
Relevant experience includes management of teams of constructors and contractors that led to some of the following accomplishments:-
· staff housing units and sanitary facilities for UNHCR funded schools projects in, Arua District, Uganda;
· renovation and construction of classroom and laboratory blocks for above client;
· purchase and supply of construction materials for School Facilities Grant under European Development Fund in Arua District;
· construction and renovation of Bwera Secondary School funded by the US Embassy in Uganda;
· headed the construction of a Caltex fuel Station in Adjumani District for Caltex Uganda;
· headed construction, renovation and alterations of Ruyo Guest Houses in Adjumani District, Uganda;
· design and construction of children’s home for Dwelling Places (an orphanage) in Wakiso District;
· alteration of existing domestic house in Kiswa Kampala to a 300 Bed students hostel;
· several private residential design and construction jobs scattered in the countryside and
· part time property manager job under the new condominium law for block 36 Bugolobi, Kampala, Uganda and
I am highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks at a time. I have a strong sense of initiative and I am able to coordinate and train staff.
