My responsibilities include the analysis of the NAFTA economic market. I work mainly with statistics dealing with the Automotive market including the statistics for the Automotive OEs, Tire Competitor information, as well Continental Sales and Production. I work daily with Excel, Power Point, and Word. I also have experience with Quick place. I travel quarterly to Germany and have been able to utilize and further my language and cultural skills. I also create quarterly presentations detailing Continental’s financial and economic position. In addition to my analyst responsibilities, I have been trained in project management and facilitation. I am the facilitator for the Project Management system used for Continental.
Internship with the Legislature in Saxony Germany Sept 21, 2004-Dec 17, 2004
I worked as an intern at the state parliament in Dresden Germany. As an intern I studied the different divisions of the Landtag and assisted in many different forms. My responsibilities included translation, copying, research, and summaries of the different divisions. I also assisted several parties, helped with preliminary research, attended the party meetings, and legislative sittings. My responsibilities were completed entirely in German. This job entailed excellent people skills and fluent German. It also entailed strong research skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Resident Mentor at Michigan State August 2002-May 2004
Worked for the complex director providing aid and advice for the students living in the residence halls at Michigan State University. This entailed excellent people skills in mediation, communication, and community building. The job focused on comprehensive planning for integrated learning in outside classroom experience. The job provided group work skills, communication with peers as well as advisors, diverse interaction with people, and detailed administrative tasks. I also participated in the hiring process for new mentors and gained sufficient facilitation experience.
