DESCRIPTION : This project involved in Architectural,Mechanical,
Industrial,Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation,
Civil Design,P&ID and Mapping as well as various types of field study, reports, and inspections.
HAND/MICROSTATION CONVERSION: Old Hand drawings are to be changed to micro-
Station. A scanned tiff has to be redrawn in to a micro station as per
the DUPONT standards. This includes:
-Creating a new borders and filling in the Border information.
-Importing the DWG or DXF file into microstation.
-Correcting the levels according to the level guidelines
-Correcting cells from the Dupont cell libraries
-Running the necessary programs given by the Dupont.
CAD/MICROSTATION CONVERSION: Dupont gets AUTOCAD files from vendors or
Contractors .Some of these drawings need to be changed by Dupont
Itself.These drawings has to be converted from AUTOCAD into
Microstation.
AS-BUILT/CHANGE MARKED-UP DRAWINGS:As-Built marked up drawings are
drawings that are checked in the plant.Differences between the drawings and real situation in the field will be marked-up on
the drawings.These mark-ups have to be changed in the drawing
to make the drawings as built again.
PROJECT DRAWINGS:Project drawings are copies of original drawings from Dupont

This is an electrical project. Will migrate existing Arc View Shape files of radial distribution circuits and devices from a preliminary conversion state to a final connectivity, database, and cartographic state. The work will consist of reviewing and adjusting the circuit and device Shape file layers to provide circuit connectivity, feature attribute completeness, and cartographic quality in conformance with the specifications. The migration task also includes executing several quality control programs to verify circuit connectivity and attribute completeness after performing the initial editing. In addition, the placement of road name labels on the circuit line Shape file will be verified by using existing CMP Arc View programs to produce plots at several scales then visually checking each road label for clear visibility.
