Sept.2006-Till date As a National United Nation Volunteer /District Project Coordinator, for the project on Social Mobilization around Natural Resource Management for Poverty Alleviation of the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India-United Nation Development Programme working under the direct supervision of District Collector/Project Director, District Rural Development Agency, Gumla District, Jharkhand responsible for;· Coordination and partnership between NGOs, women\'s groups, PRIs and local government officials;· Monitor project activities on a continuous basis and ensure that work is done according to work plan;· Collate and review reports from project districts for onward submission to UNDP-Govt. of India;· Provide technical assistance to NGOs, PRIs and women\'s group in the areas of health, education, food security and marketing support as and when required;· Facilitate convergence with/access of women\'s groups to schmes/programmes of Government, PRIs and other agencies;· Identify issues that requires research and policy advocacy at the state level;· Ensure that reports are prepared and submitted by NGO partners to the sate government on time;· Ensure timely release of funds to NGOs and women\'s groups;· Ensure that utilization certificates are sent by NGOs to the state government for onward transmission to UNDP/Govt. of India.Ensure that micro-plans are prepared by the women’s collectives in a timely manner, that they are truly participatory and not imposed upon them and that funds are made available for the activities identified by the women in a timely manner

April 2000 - August 2000 Action Aid India, Regional Office, BhubaneswarAs a Micro Level Planning Consultant carried out assessment of “Sneha Abhiyan” (Caring Community Project) in the Super Cyclone affected area of coastal Orissa with a ten-member team. Prepared 25 villages Lok Yojna (peoples plan) through use of PRA tolls, social map, resource map, participatory poverty analysis, problems identification, prioritization and planning. Prepare checklist and design of formats.

Conducted Participatory Rural Appraisal Training for 100 village base animator. Prepare Micro Level Planning at Hamlet and cluster level in 10-project village. Co-ordination and monitoring of 50 NFE centers. Achievement: Designed and managed Rs. 10 lakh for livelihood support to ten village of Titilagarh Block of Bolangir Dist.,Orissa Support Revolving fund to 12 Women Self Help Group and 30 families for land development activities.
