Project Summary

Title : Phase III Clinical Trials.
Role : SAS Programmer
Environment: SAS/Base, SAS/Macro, SAS/Stat, SAS/Graph, SAS/Access, MS-Excel
Description:
The clinical trials were conducted on the drug for renal diseases, patients undergoing dialysis, undergone kidney transplantation. The data is entered into oracle database. Data is the imported to SAS system. Creation of datasets and cleaning, manipulation, validation of data is done using data step and base SAS procedures. The statistical procedures were applied as per the protocols provided by the Bio-Statisticians. Graphical and Html reports were generated on demographics, safety analysis, and Efficacy analysis and baseline characteristics in the SAS system.
Contribution
• Involved in writing code using Base SAS & SAS Macros to extract, clean and validate data from oracle tables.
• Created SAS datasets in local SAS directory.
• Created tabular reports using Base SAS & SAS/Reports procedures.
• Responsible for converting the business rules to SAS Datasets and to load the data into the data warehouse, which are then used to generate reports.
• Analyzed data using SAS/Stat procedures.
• Generated analysis reports, graphs using SAS/Reports
• Created reports using SAS/ODS.
