As a Sr. Consultant I was responsible for partnering with clients in the achievement of goals and objectives. Major projects include:
• Large-scale recruitment projects: Worked a requisition load of no less than 50 open requisitions at a given time. Recruiting positions for all kinds, financial, legal, clinical, manufacturing, engineering, information technology, administration, sciences, and human resources.
• Auditing of Human Resources functions: complete audit and analysis for areas of improvement, systematic changes, streamline and implementation of new processes.
• Mergers & acquisitions: worked at the Director of Employment for the merging of three hospitals into one health system. Closing down of a hospital, merging vacancies from all hospitals to total over 350 openings, managed through 960 candidates, from executive level to entry level. Managed three other recruiters through the process to ensure efficiency. Coordinated job fairs and open houses. Completed severance packages, career transition and assisted executives in finding other jobs. Managed the reduction in force for 286+ healthcare professionals.
• Outsourced recruitment functions: After need analysis, audit and presentation of findings were determined; we managed through the process of bringing in an onsite recruitment team to handle over 1200 vacancies for the region. Projects included the viability of such positions, creation of accurate job descriptions, coaching of hiring managers on actual specifications, qualifications and hiring process, worked with City Government on neighborhood job fairs, recruitment functions and additional connections.
• Start up organizations: worked with consulting firms starting new practices. Determined mission, function and goals of the practice, workforce planning models, job descriptions, recruitment plan, mentoring program establishment. Objective was to fill 60 positions from Senior Manager to Consultant for this Big Four Firm. Objective achieved in four months time.
• Also completed interim assignments as a Senior Recruiter, Benefits Administrator, Generalist, and HR Manager for three to nine month terms.

Responsible for managing the Pediatric Core Specialties and the Research Institute totaling in 1300+ employees; in this role all disciplines of human resources were exercised on a daily basis. Duties include:
• Recruitment: full life cycle process recruitment of clinical and non-clinical professionals from PhD, Physicians, and Nurses to file clerks in the areas of Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology, General Pediatrics, AIDS and Diabetes Pediatric research. Positions range from Physicians to lower level administration. Managed an open requisition load of 70+ positions.
• Benefits Administration: assisted during the open enrollment process, explanation of benefits, changing of status, partnering with benefits department on the administration of leaves of absences, workman’s compensation, disability, fraud, and COBRA.
• Compensation: managed the annual performance process, ensure compliance across all departments (totaling 20 different departments), collecting data, ensuring accurate increase percentages, review of performance comments. Validate and approve job changes, promotions, demotions, increases etc. Create and approve job descriptions. Kept abreast of market trend data in order to ensure competitive pricing for recruitment and retention of talent.
• Employee Relations: counsel, discipline, educate, and consult with management and employees regarding conflict resolution, reorganization, communication, departmental survey, and process improvement. Managed through complete disciplinary action processes as well as defending the organization in legal cases regarding terminations, defended the company at unemployment hearings, investigated wrongful terminations, workman’s compensation and leave of absence fraud.
• Training and Development: Bi-monthly orientation on company goals, mission and values, benefits summary/Q&A, training on new procedures, mandates, and HR offerings. Development regarding career ladder, educational offerings for professional development etc.
