Present Job profile:
Responsible for proper Operation & Maintenance of Ericsson AXE 810 switch (APZ 21240/APG 40)

• Integrating of Ericsson BTS (RBS 2206) Cell sites on the BSC, required data on the MSC and making parameter changes on the BSC and MSC.
• Cascading of standalone sites.
• Changing TRU configuration of sites and accordingly required parameters.
• Creation of Cell DT as per the data from RF department.
• Creation of GSM cell site in MSC.
• Management of the BTS-BSC Abis links.
• Troubleshooting of the BTS and BSC related problems.
• Creation & Maintenance of different circuits.
• Defining Handover between cells.

• Interact with field staff in resolving problems related to the call failures, coverage related issues and other technical problems.
• Carry out the software upgrades of the BSS network as required from time to time.
• Monitoring the daily reports and analyzing them respectively.
• Trouble shooting if any bad performance in the network
• Implementation of Software up gradation in BSC.
• Network Performance Statistics Analysis.
• AP and CP backup for Ericsson AXE - 810 switch according backup policy.
• Resolve different switch related customer complaints.
• Helping out the RF engineer and the BTS engineer in the field.
• Perform different testing and manage data including CDRs and given Performa.
• Manage B - number table according to need.
• Creation of subscriber profile in HLR according given profile and manage it according to instructions.
• Addition of E1 (Devices) in routes according to agreements time to time.
• Creation of different routes according to need.
• Daily basis system health check and resolved if any bad parameter.
• Diagnose the faults and rectify it.
• Alarm monitoring for MSC, HLR and BSC.
• Shifting of sites from one BSC to another.
• Shifting of POI from one STM to another.
• Shifting of Sites from one STM to another.
• POI Testing.
• Solve problem in hand over testing through BSC terminal.
• Site supervision.

Computer Knowledge:

• Proficient with the use of Windows, MS Office and Internet.
• Programming Languages: C and FORTRAN.
• Proficient with the operating systems: Windows 98, 2000 and XP.
• Application Software: Electronics work Bench, Matlab and Pspice (Students version Circuit maker).
