For effective biological control of insects utilizing indigenous strains of Entomopathogenic Nematodes, correct identity of the strains and species are identified not only by morphology or morph metrics but also their biochemical characteristics are.
Some of these characteristics of Entomopathogenic Nematodes were studied with the main objectives being:

11 Conducting stability studies of various enzymes.
12 Standardizing and establishing various control samples for to be used as well as the enzyme assay procedures
13 Checking and calibrating the working of various laboratory instruments.
14 Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in laboratory notebooks, databases, and spreadsheets containing all data and calculations for tests performed.
