2005 to 2007: Business Continuity & Corporate Security Director: Intelfon SA of CV (later Project leader for Guatemala)
1. Managed business continuity, corporate and Network Crisis Response and Recovery operating in El Salvador and Guatemala, with planned expansion across Central America for the iDEN systems cellular network.
2. Executed the first Business Impact Analysis from A to Z at the company and delivered presentation to the CEO and Board.
3. Developed H&S programme & security plan; benchmarked as standard for HR & safety departments; managed the corporate security team in the region.
4. Led the programme from conception to completion of the Crisis Recovery & Business Continuity.
5. Set construction standards for all new sites built under new administration to "fit" the crisis response and recovery plan.
6. Successfully negotiated new construction standards and timelines for contractors, managed SLA’s, SPOC for implementation.
7. Directed roll out construction operation of 300 sites in Guatemala covering the entire republic, now awaiting full implementation.
8. Managed infrastructure:
a. In El Salvador carried out analysis of infrastructure continuity process resulting in restructuring the policy and processes to enable alignment with the providers recovery procedures, ITIL Compliance, timely real RTO, enhance the flow of information, ensure interoperability between internal and external entities. Working with the CTO on the Network Infrastructure and the IT management team on systems, I directed desktop and field continuity exercises; carried out monthly systems checks to ensure correct process in patch placement.
b. In Guatemala my prime objective with regards to infrastructure as Project Leader was to guarantee the implementation of the new corporate Infrastructure (both Network and
Systems) policies and processes from SU (project start up), through PL (Planning) to CP (closing implementation project) whilst embedding managing stage boundaries, something I found missing when carrying out the first analysis in El Salvador in August 2005. I championed the project from the SU stage in an effort that Intelfon could avoid the oversights detected in the 2005 impact analysis.
9. Managed Construction and Project management. Developed the Roll Out Bid Process for the contraction of the contractors that where to build 300 communication towers and radio bases across the Republic of Guatemala.
10. Negotiated real estate for the sites.
11. Managed the engineering and Systems staff for the Guatemalan implementation phase.
12. As Project Leader presented Opex and Capex projections to the board during implementation, controlled budget.

2003 to 2005: Development and Business Administration Manager: Boston Traders Inc
1. Hired as Overseas Business Development and Administration Manager for Mass Apparel Inc, the owners of the Brand Name Boston Traders American Sports Wear for men with corporate offices in Lynn, Boston, Massachusetts, USA; reported directly to the corporate CEO in Boston.
2. Developed marketing penetration plan for Latin America.
3. Developed production time schedule and plan for the partner factories in China and India.
4. Administrated the sale and placement of new collections to major retailers in Latin America.
5. Administrated the manufacturing, import of stocks.
6. Developed business continuity for the overseas process.
2003: Consultant: Fluor Daniel Corporation (Gold Mining administration and are also the largest construction corporation in the world)
1. Developed and presented Crisis Management Analysis for Peruvian Mining administration. This included an in-depth evaluation of their approved safety programme.

1 Developed City Security, Crisis Recovery Plans and Public Safety Plans for three municipals in Lima
2 Project managed the implementation to the entire process covering 4 million inhabitants

1. Carried out the business impact analysis for the supermarket chain

1996 to 2002: Regional Security Director: Bellsouth International (BSI) (Bellsouth employed 3200 staff in Peru and 4600 in Colombia)
1. Developed and implemented and Security and Business Crisis Plans for Bellsouth International Corporation which employs more than 36,000 staff worldwide. Developed the corporate-wide plan for Bellsouth International and implemented the plan in Colombia and Peru
2. Reported directly to the CEO & Vice-President of Bellsouth International on Business Continuity, Security and Crisis Management.
3. Co-ordinated with the VP for HR on network, systems, H&S, Corporate Security and Business Crisis Management
4. Played a major role in the roll-out within the interior of Peru coordinating with the project leader, over 40 exp pats were involved in the roll out. Each city included a separate MSO creating single points of failure, extensive MW redundancy rings in very remote areas.
5. Negotiated with the Mayors of each town regarding security in remote locations due to the subversive threat from MRTA, Shinning Path in Peru and Paramilitary groups and FARC in Colombia; developed anti extortion and kidnap plans for both countries.
