Qualitative tests for Carbohydrates, Aminoacids & nucleic acids, Quantitative estimation of protein, glucose, glycine, cholesterol, bilirubin & inorganc phosphate, Determination of activity of peroxidase & polyphenol oxidase.

ANALYTICAL TECHNIQUES:
Agarose gel electrophoresis, SDS PAGE, Paper & Thin layer chromatography, Membrane dialysis, Isolation of chloroplast, estimation of chlorophylls, Determination of lmax values for coloured solutions.

MICROBIAL PHYSIOLOGY & GENETICS:

Retrival of sequences in FASTA format, BLAST search, Secondary structure prediction, Viewing PDB files using RASMOL, use of CLUSTAL X, Tree View & DNASIS softwares.
One year certificate course in MS OFFICE.
