Ø At present, I am doing research leading to the award of Ph. D (Doctor of Philosophy) in Chemistry at Karnataka University, Dharwad, INDIA, on “Studies on the interactions of potentially active compounds with biomolecules and assay of bioactive compounds”.I am going to submit my thesis shortly (one month)
Research Interests:

v Studies on the mechanism of interaction of some class of bioactive compounds with proteins and DNA by employing different techniques like spectroflurimetric, Life time decay measurements, Circular Dichroism, FT-IR, electro analytical, Uv-vis absorption, equilibrium dialysis etc.
v Development of analytical methods for the determination of chemical pollutants in environmental samples, trace metal ions in real and biological samples, and drugs in pharmaceutical preparations and biological samples. Investigations on analytical properties of bioactive compounds by using LC and LC-MS, GC and GC-MS, Fluorimetry, electro analytical, Spectrophotometry etc.
