PROFILE

A media postgraduate with a background in photography & media production, with an attentive eye for detail. Experience on a broad range of projects in a deadline driven environment looking for a role in a creative fast moving company which will provide challenges and real career prospects.

RELEVANT SKILLS

 As I am half Iranian and half Swedish and also speak fluent English I have the advantage of being
Bilingual. My moving from Sweden to England has allowed me to encompass both cultures equally and it has given me a broadened outlook on life and a greater understanding of the world around me.

 Communicated with a wide range of audiences talking about my work by having a few exhibitions with subjects, such as “ the women behind the mask” & “love is blind”.

 I have good creative abilities and strong ideas, these skills have been particularly honed through
studying for my master degree, photography &media. And also through previous work as a
freelance photographer.

 I have highly developed team working and interpersonal skills. I have gained these skills on set for film productions, where working, as part of a team is an important tool. I have also developed a better understanding of teamwork as a result of being a media student where most of the assignments were based on group work. My main role throughout projects was to organise and motivate the group for a top result.

 As a receptionist in a busy hotel with 162 room problem solving is an everyday task. I have
learned to solve the problems effectively & quickly. Working in caring taught me to find solutions to problems and assisting in an efficient manner.

 During University I expanded my knowledge and confidence of computer skills programs such as
Competent with digital image manipulation, PhotoShop Internet Explorer, Word, Access,
PowerPoint and Outlook Express. I actively enjoy researching on the Internet, and
Have a basic understanding of HTML and Visual Basic.

with eating disorders and negative body image.

Achievement: perfect signature shopping call for the company Created a
CD-ROM “ good to great “ for the company which was presented to
20 General Manager nationally, was a big success. Organised events
specifically for the staff and the management.

 2003-~ 2004 Production Assistant: Mekano enterprise Stockholm.working as a part of a
small film production company responsible for finding locations for filming and
pre-production during the production. Due to a high workload &pressing
deadlines my successful contributions to these projects demonstrated my ability
to work under, pressure.

 2000~2003 Customer service: Thorntons Luton , skills applied to accomplish the task
included creativity and organisation during the two years working there,
I achieved individual sales target managed customer satisfaction on survey and
demonstrated a pride in my own personal presentation that reflected
the brand image.
