WORK HISTORY

Quality Control In charge: 1986 to Till Date
The W.B Co-operative Spinning Mills Ltd (Quality Control In-charge of a Reputed Textile Mill in India near Kolkata)
· Sole responsible of the Quality Control Department for the 100% cotton and P/V spinning unit to produce 2 lacks K.g/month of yarn in 40 S conversions.
· Tackling several types of problems of different magnitudes in decision making as well as taking corrective and preventive action in the field of Quality Control both for the managerial and the technical aspect .Engaged me for the selection of cotton (knowledge of operation of H.F.T-900, HVI Premier cotton testing machine) and look after the Quality Control operation for the production of 25000 spindles and count range 10S- 60S.Look after for the collection of samples from the process, testing the product to maintain the standard.
· Look after the unification, codification, and the standardization of the product.
· Making samples (catalogue) for the sales and for the developmental work
· Attended different seminars, exhibitions, Workshops for Quality Control on behalf of the company
· Visit the market in time to time for market report & for the technical aspects
Investigator cum Supervisor: 1983 Till 1986
The W.B Co-operative SPG Mills Ltd Reputed Textile Mill near Kolkata.
· Investigatory and supervisory duties performed both for Production and Quality Control to run the 25000 spindles for the 100% cotton yarn.
· Taken different types of studies and made report comparing it with the standard. Made wide range of testing of yarn & fabric.
· After satisfying my performance management of the society promoted me as a Quality Control In-charge from 1st February 1986.

Shift In charge: 1980 Till 1983
Indian Rayan and Industries (Unit-Jayashree Textiles (Worsted Section)
· I got here the responsibilities both for the production and Quality Control of a shift for the Worsted Section.
· I discharged my responsibilities to process here mainly Polyester/Wool, 100% Merino wool, Polyester/viscose to achieve the production target maintaining the Quality.
· Perform Training programs to increase the Quality Consciousness of the Workman, to increase the consciousness of safety of the workmen. Taken here the complete responsibilities of the planning, maintenance and the Quality Control of a Shift for the operation of 6000 spindles the count range 16S to 80S.

Statistical Quality Control Supervisor: 1979 Till 1980
Dunbar Mills
· Engaged here for different types of Textile Testing both yarn and fabric of a composite mill taken different types of studies of the process for the Q.C aspect to make report comparing it with the standard both for 100% cotton and Synthetic ( P/V ) yarn and fabric
