CONSULTING IN FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING.
From August 2005 up to now.
Has provided consulting in Finance, Accounting and Systems to the following companies:
· TECHNO ERA GROUP CORP. & TEG INTERNATIONAL (Miami office).
Developed the Finance and Accounting function of this international company with operations in U.S. and Panama. In addition, I set up the financial plan for an Electric Power Plant to be installed by this company in Panama.
· KFORCE, Consulting in Accounting (Miami Office).
From 11/2006 up to 01/2007 I worked at MASTEC in its Miami offices providing assistance to Accounting Dept., being in charge of the year end closing of the Central Office Division.
· SCANSOURCE LATIN AMERICA (MIAMI OFFICE) DIRECTOR of FINANCE, From 03/2006 up to 08/31/06.
Managed the Latin America's finance function (Reporting, accounting, treasury, internal control, SOX, audit liaison, other). In addition, I installed the E.R.P. Accounting module of Axapta system (Microsoft system call now Dynamics) replacing old SBT system, in a record period of two months.
· ROBERT HALF MANAGEMENT SERVICES (Miami office).
CONSULTING in Finance and Accounting, From 08, 2005 to 02, 2006. Assigned to the following customers:
- Our kids of Miami Dade/Monroe Inc. (State of Florida Agency);
- Health Choice Network (State of Florida Health Dept. Grants Agency);
- AMEDEX Insurance Company (Life and Health);
Developed different Accounting, Internal Control, Consolidations, Reporting, International Accounting ( at AMEDEX), Financial Statements, Reconciliations and other related matters.

GENERAL MANAGER, FROM 10,2002 to 07, 2005
Total administration, commercial, finance and operations control of this family business.
· WILLIS INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS (British corp., insurance & reinsurance broker)
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER (CHILE), FROM 07/2000 to 10/2002.
Functional owner, responsible and accountable for Willis Chile finance and administration. Reporting, accounting, treasury, financial planning, H.R., IT management, business support: products analysis, data base managing, productivity; general and divisional (life, health, general, casualty), etc. Leaded the merging of three companies into Willis when they acquired two Chilean companies, participated in the due diligence process. In addition installed the Stock Option Plan as a pilot program for Latin America and also implemented the Accounting Sun System, as well as, Human Resources System. All of the above were accomplished with the minimum overhead since I absorbed all the associated functions with the same organization that I managed in Willis and consequently, I was able to eliminate all redundant functions.
· TECK CORPORATION From 03/1993 TO 06/1997 (Canadian mining company).
-FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER, MINERA TECK (CHILE).
-CONTROLLER FOR SOUTH AMERICA (CHILE BASED)
-FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER (CHILE) MINERA SANTA ROSA SCM J/V TECK WITH ANGLO AMERICAN)
Occupied above positions, providing management guidance and being responsible for Finance and Administration functions with emphasis on; Reporting, accounting, financial planning, treasury, systems, etc.. Overviewed, guided and controlled Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Peru from finance function’s perspective. Decided the control systems linked to Accounting, Finance and Planning, Human Resources. Overviewed the contracts with government and private sectors and many other associated tasks. My skills and experience helped the company to eliminate overhead charges to projects since I was capable to wear several functional hats and comply with all the demands of the positions.
· IBM, CAREER RESUME:
BUSINESS CONTROLS AND AUDIT MANAGER IBM CHILE, 1990 -1991.
Internal control assurance, business process' quality and soundness, audits and peer reviews. Participated in the re-engineering of the corporation, due diligence for the acquisition of a partner (Sisteco).
ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR IBM CHILE FROM 1975 TO 1977 & 1988 TO 1989.
Managed all the Accounting Dept., US GAAPs enforcement, guidance and advice to accounting professionals. Reporting (B/S, P&L, Cash Flow, Fixed Assets, Inventories, Related Companies, Taxes compliance, SEC compliance), Accounting procedures implementation, other.
PLANNING AND CONTROL – TREASURY IBM CHILE, 1978 to 1987.
Financial/Treasury Planning and related controlling activities; deviations, corrections, explanations, narratives, distribution of functional responsibilities and targets of approved budgets and modifications, overview of A. Receivable and A. Payable, reporting B/S, P&L, Cash Projections, key indicators managing: ROI, ROA, Margins, DSO, Inventories T/O, etc.. Interacted with all the functions of the company in order to produce the Annual and Quarterly Budgets.
INTER-COMPANY AND INVENTORY ACCOUNTANT IBM CHILE, 1970 to 1972.
Functional owner, responsible and accountable for all the subjects associated to this area; Accounting, Intercompany Reconciliation / offsets and other.
AUDITOR IN TRAINING IBM LATINAMERICA( BUENOS AIRES).1972
Control processes applied to the audit function at IBM in Latin America.
ACCOUNTING INVENTORY SUPERVISOR IBM BRASIL ( R.J.) 1973 to 1974.
Functional owner, responsible and accountable for the overall Accounting associated to the manufacturing division of the company.

I am skilled and very system friendly and able to assimilate new systems very fast. Have installed several systems from the Accounting and Finance point of view: E.R.P. AXAPTA (Microsoft, Dynamics), Accounting Sun System (Great Britain), IBM systems (inventories, accounting, fixed assets, others). Have broad experience working with other systems such as: Oracle Financials, SAP (Business One), QuickBooks, SALOMON, PLATINUM, SBT, other.. Also; Office MS Platform: EXCEL, WORD, POWER POINT, OUTLOOK, INTERNET, other; LOTUS NOTES, etc.
