While as designated OR Tech, pioneered the dedicated technologist position in the OR under the direct supervision of surgeons, OR supervisors and Diagnostic Services Department using both conventional and computed radiographic equipment. Pioneered implementation of a dedicated second shift within the Diagnostic Services Department. Utilizes preceptor and mentor skills for new employees, students, and high school student interns within Radiology department. Ongoing cross training in CT scanning completed cross training requirements for heads and unenhanced abdomens. Performs EKGs and applies Holter Monitors according to Life Scan protocols as needed within the Diagnostic Services in accordance with new department policy mandates.
