• Helped produce 27 issues of a 40-56-page bimonthly magazine with features, news articles, charts, calendars and interviews using full-color and two-color graphics.
• Manually pasted up overlays for the cover and wrote specifications for the printer.
• Reviewed blue lines, marked up proofs and camera-ready copy.
• Worked with the Bureaus Printing Specialist to help her meet printing requirements and deadlines.
• Attended press inspections at commercial printing firms.
• Created one- and two-column marketing ads; designed mastheads.
• Designed book covers for the Bureau of Mines 1996 commemorative edition of the Minerals Yearbook, an Annual Report for the Branch of Statistics and Methods Development, and other publications.

• Over saw the production of a professional staff of four, an Instructional Media Planner, a Graphic Artist, a Photographer and an Audiovisual Technician.
