Director, Content Mapping & Business Requirements
• Owing to my unique skill set (effective use of channels and mediums, strategic business development, and effective communications); I was selected to lead the development and implementation of a firm wide knowledge management strategy for use in the new Portal initiative. Responsibilities include developing business requirements for the Portal by conducting focus groups and user interviews and surveys to understand content needs and align them to the Firm’s go-to-market strategy.
• Create and lead the implementation of an integrated knowledge management strategy working closely with business and process owners.
• Lead the move of the external U.S. Web site to the new Global IT platform and provide strategic input from the business perspective on the Global Portal Initiative currently underway.
• Develop a firm wide Taxonomy for the US firm and lead the integration of the taxonomy to the back-end system to facilitate a seamless user-experience and optimize the search functionality.
• Manage the external website for the Firm working closely with the Global team to ensure seamless content leveraging processes. Currently in the process of developing the strategy for the complete revamping of this site to make it effective.

• Manage Proposal Edge, a web-enabled system that supports the sales and marketing activities of the entire U.S. Firm, providing targeted content for all marketing initiatives (including complete proposals and presentations), and guidance regarding go-to-market strategy and tactics.
• Responsible for the entire redesign and build of the current system to closely mirror the business development plans for Audit, Tax, and Risk Advisory Services for the entire U.S. Firm. Also serve as resource to numerous KPMG International practices, currently developing similar systems for their practices.
• Work directly with Vice Chairman Global Marketing, and senior management to ensure that the system supports the overall marketing strategy of the Firm. Recommend appropriate changes and enhancements that mirror the Firm’s sales and marketing goals.
• Recently completed a review of all International Executive Services proposals over the past three years to analyze key decision criteria. Report submitted to the newly appointed Partner-in-charge for the practice.
• Work with the Global Vice Chair for marketing to secure additional funding for system upgrade and expansion. Develop and present to management project plan for build and ongoing maintenance.
• Manage the work of nine IT consultants from Arc eConsultancy and KPMG; as well as 15 senior writers who developed content for the system. Managed a $1.2M project budget and completed the project on time and under budget. Today, I manage a staff of six senior professional writers and project organizers. Further expansion of the Group is planned and budgeted.
• Ensure the strategic direction, quality, and accuracy of all content posted on the system.
• Manage work under rapidly changing situations and deadlines as sales strategies evolve,
deadlines shift, and resources change.
