1983 - PRESENT (PRO-BONO) Linguist / Translator / Interpreter Arabic / Chaldean / English.

UPS 7/00 - 8/05 I was hired as a part time general labor. Then worked my way up to become a full time driver. It is a very difficult job to reach in just three years.

SEW RIGHT 6/95 - 7/00 I owned and operated a small sewing business out of my own home. During this time I sewed leather parts for the automotive industries.

OLYMPIC FLAME 4/84 - 6/95 This restaurant was owned by a family member. I helped maintained and operate the business, also I ran the floor.

LAMAR INDUSTRIES 5/84 - 6/90 I was a machine operator and worked my way up to a quality control position.

EXPERIENCE:

I know the culture of Baghdad because I lived and went to school. I speak read and write all three languages. I have been doing pro-bono work since 1980 for my people that are in the US now. I do all of there paper work such as social security, doctors, lawyers and just about any thing you can imagine. As for as the English aspect of it. I was taught in Iraq as well as my husband who was born and raised in MI. He helped me pick up on the American slang as well as proper English. It all helps. I am ready for this position. This job is great for both of us.
